At Steadfast Tattoo Co. in Redmond, Oregon, we believe that clear communication creates the best tattoo experience. Our policies are designed to respect your time, and ensure a comfortable and professional environment, and tobsupport the artistry of your tattoo.
Below you’ll find information about consultations, deposits, cancellations, design approvals, and aftercare. Please take a few minutes to review these guidelines before booking your appointment. If you have any questions, we’re always happy to help.
We offer free consultations to discuss your tattoo design ideas, placement options, style preferences, and to answer any questions you may have. Consultations can be scheduled through our online booking system and require a card on file. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Missed consultations or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $30 fee.
To book a tattoo appointment, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit. This deposit reserves your time with the artist, covers the design process, and is applied to the final cost of your tattoo. If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, the deposit is applied to the final appointment.
Each deposit allows for one reschedule with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. If you reschedule more than once or give less than 48 hours’ notice, a new deposit will be required. No-calls and no-shows result in a forfeited deposit.
Cancelling your appointment means the deposit is forfeited. Missed appointments without notice (no-call/no-show) or arriving more than 15 minutes late without calling may also result in forfeiting your deposit and losing your scheduled time.
Once you’ve had your consultation and placed a deposit, your artist will begin the design process. You’ll receive an appointment reminder before your scheduled session. Most artists present designs when you arrive. Minor edits can often be made on the spot, but significant changes may require rescheduling and an additional deposit.
Some artists may choose to send your design in advance. Ask your artist what their policy is. Please keep in mind that major redesigns requested late in the process may result in a new deposit.
Please arrive at your appointment on time (no need to arrive early). Once you complete your consent forms, your artist will review the design with you, place the stencil, and begin your tattoo once everything is set.
Dress comfortably and ensure the tattoo area is easily accessible. You’re welcome to bring snacks, headphones, or anything to help you feel relaxed — just be sure you can stay still during the tattoo.
We prioritize your comfort and privacy. If you’re receiving a tattoo in a sensitive area, feel free to bring supportive clothing or ask for a privacy screen. If you’d prefer a quiet, conversation-free session, just let us know.
We offer two healing methods: derm-shield (clear medical adhesive bandage) and traditional aftercare (wrap + ointment). Your artist will recommend what’s best for you based on your skin and lifestyle.
At Steadfast Tattoo Co., we welcome clients of all backgrounds and beliefs - and we’re honored to tattoo designs that hold personal meaning, including those rooted in faith, heritage, or civic identity. However, we ask that all clients and artists refrain from engaging in political or religious debates or commentary during their time in the studio. This includes jokes, derogatory terms or hate speech.
Our goal is to maintain a calm, neutral and respectful environment where everyone feels safe, welcome, and free from unnecessary tension. This is our creative space where we make permanent art and we want to focus on giving you our best. We reserve the right to redirect conversation or end appointments if conversations become disrespectful or disruptive.
